Couches, Calculus, and Cake!

What do all these things have in common? It's what I did this weekend.

My boss so graciously gave me some furniture she was no longer in need of. After hauling out the old couch and bringing in the new, it was time to take the old couch to Crystal's apartment. Sounds easy, right? Not so much... After getting the couch through the narrow doorframe to the entrance of the apartment, and hauling it up some VERY steep stairs, it was discovered that one of the legs was catching on the stairs, not allowing the couch to go all the way up. So, the guys took the couch back down and outside, flipped it around, and headed back up. That didn't work either. My dad went back home and got a saw. George cut the legs off of the couch and drilled holes into each one so that a dowel could be placed in each one and the couch would not be resting on the floor. Needless to say, moving couches pretty much took all morning and part of the afternoon!

Next comes Calculus. I have my first Calculus test today (dun dun dunnn...) After the furniture moving, that is what my day consisted of. Studying math. Yippee.

Last, but not least, CAKE! It was Audrey's third birthday on Sunday. Liz made this awesome cake and we had a fun birthday/super bowl party!

THINGS THAT ARE TOO small

Audrey squeezed herself and her "Baby Sally" into the doll sized play-pen!

This is what happens when mom grabbs jammies in the dark, you get the ones that were not supposed to be worn again, and a two-year-old that insists she MUST wear them TONIGHT! No matter the size :)

Screech Powers, anyone?

Audrey had an accident at day care. The pants they changed her into, with the shoes and sweater she was wearing, made her look a little like Screech from Saved by the Bell! What do you think?

There's a CAT in this bag!

Hmmm, look what's in here! It's Fred, the cat! Maybe I can pull him out... ouch! he got me!

My Little Plumber

What happens when you mix a 27 pound girl, big girl underwear, and pajama bottoms that are just a wee bit too big? Audrey the Plumber:
