Face Painting

The youth in our ward did a "Penny Carnival" for the kids. They painted this cute butterfly on Audrey's cheek. She learned how to say "butterfly" pretty well! She didn't want to sit still for her picture to be taken... hence the hands on her face :)

Singing with Aunt Jessica

Jessica was sitting at the piano one day, singing and playing, and Audrey started to sing too! Sorry that it's not right-side-up... I can't figure out how to fix that.

Audrey - newborn

Since I started this blog after Audrey was born, I thought I'd add some pics of her as a baby.

2/1/06 - Birthday! At 7 weeks premature, Audrey weighed in at 4lbs, 5 oz. There is some confusion as to the height... some say 18 inches (kind of tall for the weight) while others say 14 inches.

One day old - on a ventilator at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo.

Audrey got sypsis while in the hospital. This is a picture of her with an IV in her head. She is also holding her binki and her ear.

Audrey - First Days at Home

Audrey was a month-and-a-half old when she came home from the hospital.

She couldn't stop smiling her first night at home!

Big girl....

Or BIG seat!
She is wearing a monitor (the wires coming from between her feet), she would "forget" to breathe. The monitor would sound like a fire alarm when she stopped. SCARY! Eventually she out-grew not breathing and is just fine now.

Audrey's Blessing Dress

Because of Audrey's health and my separation from Devan, it took a while before Audrey was blessed. She was blessed eight months after she was born.

She loved the feel of her dress.
