My Aunt Geniece used to say this to us all the time, "It hurts to be beautiful." Mostly when she was fixing our hair and it was pulling... I put Audrey's hair in curlers and she cried. My mom said the famous phrase, and these pictures definitely prove they are true!

ok... I totally remember wearing the pink sponge curler to bed and them hurting my head! Not only did they hurt but looking back, my hair looked hideous!!
